‘Anthaathi’ is a delightful journey, brilliant in parts especially Chinmayi’s rendition of the verses “Konjam pooraname…” putting us into a deep trance leading seamlessly to the endearing portions – “Kadhale Kadhale”. The composer deserves a huge garland for how the sequences were arranged. Using chorus for the crescendo portions is the track’s masterstroke. It hits harder and conveys the power of love through the innovative words of Karthik Netha. Wish it had been Chinmayi singing those final verses too instead of Nasser reciting like in a midnight radio program. Anthaathi – on first listen, you never know what you are getting into. Stay away if you can. This song is a trap and it will stay that way for a long time.
